General Questions
Walk ins are welcome during opening hours. If you are travelling from Grimsby, Binbrook or West Lincoln, call first so we can confirm the part is in stock.
Yes. We find the fault and give you a written quote before any work starts. You pay nothing if you decide not to go ahead.
It covers the parts we fitted and the labour involved, for 3 months from the repair date. Accidental damage after the repair is not included.
No. Your data stays on the device. If a repair genuinely needs a backup or transfer, we tell you first and you decide.
Often, yes. We work at board level in house, so faults that need micro soldering rather than a parts swap are still worth bringing to us.
Often, yes. A new screen or battery usually costs far less than a replacement, and we’ll give you an honest recommendation if a repair doesn’t make sense.
Yes. We stock brand new, certified pre owned and used iPads, Android tablets, MacBooks and Windows laptops, along with PlayStation 5, Xbox and Nintendo Switch consoles.

iPhone & Android Repair Questions
The price depends on your iPhone model and the type of screen you choose. Call us or request a free quote online and we’ll give you an exact price before starting.
Most screen, battery and charging port repairs are finished in under an hour when the part is in stock. We test the device fully before you collect it. Water damage and board repairs usually take 1 to 5 days.
Yes. We handle inner displays, hinges and outer screens on Fold and Flip models, which most shops in the area will not take on.

iPad & Tablet Repair Questions
It depends on the model, since an iPad Pro screen costs more than an older iPad. Call us or request a free quote online and we’ll give you an exact price before any work starts.
Many screen and battery replacements are finished the same day when the part is in stock. Larger iPad Pro screens and water damage repairs can take 1 to 3 days.
Almost always. A screen or battery replacement usually costs far less than a new iPad, and we’ll tell you honestly if a repair isn’t worth it.
Yes, and please bring it in soon. A swollen battery pushes the screen out of the frame and can become a fire risk, so stop charging it and stop using it.
Yes. A tablet that won’t start is often a battery, charging port or board fault, and all three are repairable. The diagnosis is free.
We do, though on very low cost tablets the repair sometimes costs more than the tablet is worth. We’ll tell you before you spend anything.

Laptop & MacBook Repair Questions
It depends on the model and the panel, since a MacBook Retina display costs more than a standard laptop screen. Call us or request a free quote and we’ll give you an exact price before any work starts.
Screen, battery and keyboard replacements usually take 1 to 2 days once the part is in. Liquid damage and board repairs take 2 to 5 days, since corrosion cleaning and testing can’t be rushed.
Often, yes. A new battery, SSD or extra memory can give a five year old laptop years more life for far less than a replacement. If a repair doesn’t make sense, we’ll tell you.
In most repairs your data stays untouched. If a repair could put your files at risk, we’ll tell you first and can back them up for you.
Yes. A MacBook that won’t power on is usually a battery, charging chip or board fault, and we repair all three in house. The diagnosis is free.
Usually. Swapping a hard drive for an SSD and adding memory makes the biggest difference, and most laptops feel new again afterwards.
Yes. Broken hinges often crack the case and can damage the screen cable if left, so it’s worth bringing in early.
Yes. Bring the laptop in as soon as possible rather than leaving it to dry, because corrosion keeps spreading. We clean the board and tell you honestly what is recoverable.

Smart Watch Repair Questions
It depends on the brand, the model and whether the display or just the glass is damaged. We check it for free and give you an exact price before any work starts.
Most screen and battery repairs are done in 1 to 3 days. Repairs that need special order parts or board level work can take a little longer.
The most common causes are a worn out battery, a charging fault or water damage. A watch can also get stuck on the Apple logo after a failed update. We find the real cause during a free diagnosis.
Batteries lose capacity after a few years of daily charging. Apps and settings play a part too, but if your watch still dies early after a restart and a software update, a new battery usually fixes it.
We fit new adhesive seals during screen and battery repairs, but no repaired watch can be guaranteed to match its original water rating. We recommend keeping a repaired watch out of the pool and shower.
Yes. Along with Apple Watch and Samsung Galaxy Watch, we repair Garmin, Fitbit and Google Pixel Watch models. Call ahead and we’ll confirm parts are available for your model.

Gaming Console Repair Questions
It depends on whether the port alone is damaged or the surrounding board needs work too. We check it for free and give you an exact price before any work starts.
HDMI ports, cleanings and controller repairs usually take 1 to 3 days. Board level repairs can take a little longer depending on parts.
The most common cause is a damaged HDMI port, often from a cable being pulled or the console being moved while plugged in. It can also be a faulty HDMI chip on the board. Both are repairable.
Usually overheating from dust and dried thermal paste, or a failing power supply. A cleaning and thermal service fixes most cases.
Yes. We replace the worn joystick module on PS5, Xbox and Joy Con controllers, which is often cheaper than buying a new controller.
Repairs like ports, fans and drives don’t touch your storage, so your games and saves stay in place. Backing up to the cloud is always a good idea before any repair.

Water Damage Repair Questions
Often yes, especially if it comes in quickly. Devices that have been sitting for weeks or that were repeatedly switched on while wet have lower success rates, and we will tell you honestly where yours falls after the diagnostic.
Bring the phone in as soon as possible rather than leaving it to dry, because corrosion keeps spreading. We clean the board and tell you honestly what is recoverable.
No. Rice absorbs a little ambient moisture and does nothing about the conductive residue left on the board, which is what causes the real damage. The time spent in the rice is time corrosion is spreading.
Water resistance ratings are tested on new devices in clean water. Seals age, and drops and screen replacements break them. Water resistant phones come to our bench regularly.
Most jobs are back within a few days, depending on how far the corrosion has spread and whether parts are needed. We give you a timeline with the quote.
You will know after the free diagnostic. If the board is beyond repair we will tell you, and we can look at recovering your data instead.
Data Recovery Questions
It depends on the device and how badly it’s damaged. We diagnose it for free and give you an exact price before any work starts.
Simple recoveries are often done in 1 to 3 days. Devices with board damage, water damage or failing drives can take longer, and we keep you updated along the way.
Often, yes. Modern phones encrypt their data, so the phone usually needs to be repaired enough to boot. We do board level repair in store to get dead phones running again so your data can be backed up.
Yes. If the phone still works but the screen is smashed or black, we can replace the screen or connect a working display so you can unlock it and back everything up.
Yes. Your device stays in our Stoney Creek shop, we only access what’s needed to recover your files, and recovered data is handed back only to you.
Sometimes. It depends on the device, how long ago they were deleted and how much it has been used since. Check your Recently Deleted album and cloud backups first, then stop using the device and bring it in.
No honest shop can guarantee every recovery, because some damage is too severe. We tell you what we find during the free diagnosis and give you a clear quote before any work begins.
